The Grateful Dead Bug

I took this picture at a friends house. A dragon flyish looking bug landed on top of their bird feeder carrying a "June Bug" in its mouth. The June Bug was surely a great liquid lunch for the dragon fly!

Camping @ Shakelford Banks

I was invited to go on a camping trip with a group of 7 outstanding women to Shakelford Banks in North Carolina. Shakelford Banks is known for its wild horses, nicknamed "Banker Ponies", that roam freely on the 9 mile island.
